Commercial Technologies

Central, 'all-air' air conditioning systems or package systems
combined with an outdoor condenser/evaporator unit are often installed in modern residences, offices, and public buildings, but are difficult to retrofit into older buildings because of the bulky air ducts required to carry the needed air to heat or cool an area. The duct system must be carefully maintained to prevent the growth of pathogenic bacteria such as legionella in the ducts. Service Tech can not only service your existing unit, but we offer a full line of duct cleaning and inspection services to maintain your systems operational efficiency.

Split systems are often used as an alternative to large central systems
through the utilization of separate indoor and outdoor coils. These systems are gaining popularity in smaller commercial buildings, retrofit systems into older buildings, and where additional cooling is needed for electronic equipment rooms. The evaporator coil is connected to a remote condenser unit using refrigerant piping between an indoor and outdoor unit instead of ducting air directly from the outdoor unit. Indoor units with directional vents mount onto walls, suspend from ceilings, or fit into the ceiling. Other indoor units mount inside the ceiling cavity, so that short lengths of duct handle air from the indoor unit to vents or diffusers around the room or rooms. Service Tech carries a full line of split systems with the design and installation experience our customers have grown to expect.
